The Forest School at Escot

Just a stone's throw from Exeter, this beautiful mixed woodland site is the perfect setting for Forest School fun for all ages!

The Forest School at Escot was created by a passionate team of trained Forest School Leaders who set up our sister Forest School sites across Devon.

From March 2022, we are very pleased to be opening our latest site, The Forest School at Escot. Located 20 minutes away from Exeter, within a beautiful plot of mixed woodland that boasts areas carpeted with bluebells throughout Spring, our experienced team will be offering Toddler ClubsHome Ed sessionsHoliday Clubs and Birthday Parties.

We are based on the edge of the Escot Estate in a patch of beautiful woodland, comprised of mature native trees and fauna galore!

Our Escot site offers the ideal setting for our Forest School activities

After many months of searching for a suitable plot of woodland to continue the legacy of our original flagship site, we were fortunate enough to become acquainted with the owner of The Escot Estate. Their ethos, drive and passion for education, responsible land-stewardship and conservation of their park and woodland struck a chord with us, and after a tour of the Estate, we were left without a doubt that we had found a fantastic setting to carry on where Exeter Forest School left off.

We are super excited to bring our existing attendees to The Forest School at Escot and welcome many more as our Forest School provision grows!
