This qualification is primarily aimed for those employed, volunteering or otherwise involved in Primary and Secondary schools. However, the topics covered can also easily be applied to a wider range of educational settings.

Completion of the practical course and required coursework gives you a ITC Level 3 Learning Beyond the Classroom Qualification. The level 3 is equivalent to an A* – C grade at A Level. This qualification is primarily designed for those employed, volunteering or otherwise involved in Primary and Secondary schools to take their learners outside as part of their curriculum. However, the topics covered can also easily be applied to a wider range of educational settings.

Trainees needs to have a DBS check, have some experience working with children and young people. A valid paediatric first aid certificate is also desirable.
