Marketing Manager (Part Time) Vacancy

After nearly six years we are preparing to bid farewell to our marketing wizard, Chris Shadrick. Chris has worked miracles to ensure our organisation is as attractive online online as we do in person (!)… So, could you be the right individual to carry the torch and keep us moving in the right direction?

The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Manager to support South West Outdoors Group with our annual marketing strategy and then roll this out across online and offline channels.

This is a part time position based at our Exeter Forest School site. To begin the role will require 1 day per week, however if this role leads to growth within the organisation there is opportunity to increase hours.

Over the last few years marketing has played a vital role in growing our organisation and enabling us to communicate with parents, schools and businesses about the wonderful things we do.

We’re looking for an individual that can:

  • Manage our social media accounts to share our work and what we get up to at our Exeter and Exmouth Forest Schools
  • Produce blogs and content for our website to increase website traffic
  • Manage our search rankings to ensure our website has good SEO and high rankings
  • Manage PPC campaigns to bid on relevant keywords
  • Run targeted Facebook advertising campaigns to grow our audience and increase website bookings
  • Manage website bookings and think of new ways to increase online bookings
  • Generate PR opportunities across the South West to raise our profile, particularly within schools
