SENCo Coffee and Networking
Offering SENCo's from around Devon an opportunity to network with peers, informative talks and a well deserved break from the classroom
Hello there! We know that sometimes, your role can be an isolating and busy one. As one of our company values is to create awesome communities wherever we go, we would like to invite you for a cup of coffee and a tasty treat at one of our forest school sites in our beautiful woodlands.
This is an opportunity for SENCo’s to come together for a relaxed cup of coffee in a beautiful woodland, while also providing a networking opportunity and the chance to share knowledge. We also hope to help facilitate skill development and an understanding of how outdoor education can help support your role within schools.
We wanted to give SENCO’s the chance to spend time away from the classroom, and experience some of the benefits of learning beyond the classroom out in nature. We’ll share our knowledge and do our best to answer any questions you have.

This is as an opportunity for SENCo’s to come together away from the class room, and find out about SEND outdoors and its benefits for learners, enjoy a cuppa and a piece of cake around the campfire and connect with other SENCo’s in the area. Every term we will have a different focus with talks from our SEND outdoors specialists and occassional guest speakers, we will also provide practical skills you can take away and use with your learners.
You can also find out about the support and services The Outdoors Group can offer, and the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like. You will find out more about our alternative provision (TLP), behaviour support and consultancy and how The Outdoors School can help support you and your leaners. We’ll share our knowledge and do our best to answer any questions you may have.
This is not only a great way to network, gain knowledge, share best practice and continue your professional development but an opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy nature! Our SENCo coffee in the woods will take place in our beautiful woodlands at Exmouth, Wellington and Combe Martin so appropriate footwear and clothing for the outdoors is advised.
This event is completely free but spaces are limited, so please be sure to book in advance using the links above.
