Job description

Job Purpose

Ensure the effective and timely administration of all HR processes and systems for the company.

Act as the first point of contact for HR administration queries for customers and colleagues. Handle the day to day running of administration tasks prioritising the workload as required.

Main duties and responsibilities

Assist with the administration of the recruitment process including the management of the applications with the hiring manager; arrange interviews for shortlisted candidates, carry out pre-employment checks.

Ensure timely completion of onboarding paperwork for all new starters. Process paperwork for all new starters and assist with Induction, DBS Clearances and gathering references.

Ensure the accurate processing of monthly payroll and expenses.

Prepare and issue employment contracts.

Ensure employee records are maintained effectively on the HRIS including running regular reports to identify any errors or missing information.

Extract and analyse data from the staff database and other systems to support Senior Managers, e.g. to monitor staff absence and leave.

Ensure our HR filing systems are maintained effectively using the appropriate naming conventions online and manual files are up to date.

To promptly and effectively deal with enquiries by telephone, correspondence and in person.

Ad hoc project work as required.

Statutory/Regulatory responsibilities

Maintain Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with Employment Law, with support of the HR Officer.

This post requires a DBS check.
