Outdoor Education & CPD Courses

We’ve designed two IOL accredited courses featuring five modules, which draw knowledge from our staff in their specialist areas. The courses benefit people delivering outdoor education, or who want to explore particular aspects of forest school and outdoor learning.

Why train with the Outdoors Group?

  • You complete your course in our beautiful woodland, with on site assessment at the time of training.
  • We are a friendly team of experienced woodsmen versed in outdoor-learning, bushcraft and forest school delivery.
  • We offer two bespoke qualifications, each with the option of completing over one full week or across the year.
  • You have the option to pick the individual module(s) that apply to you as part of your CPD or specific interest area.
  • Both courses are fully accredited by the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL).

You can train over five consecutive days, or spread the course across the year as individual modules.

Each module has been designed by The Outdoors Group team, and placed with other modules that we feel complement each other.

To achieve the Level 2 award, you must complete each module within one of the qualifications. However we do offer stand alone modules for those who have a specific interest area.

All our outdoors education and CPD courses will take place at our Exmouth Forest School site
